Standing Up for Illinois Energy Resources

In my position on the House Science Committee, I have been working to increase the safe use of Illinois' natural resources - corn for ethanol, coal that can be burned cleanly - to create jobs here at home while reducing our dependence on foreign oil. I am a strong supporter of the FutureGen program, which could provide Illinois with new jobs, as well as the national ethanol program which uses our corn and other farm products to clean the environment and create industries for us in the Midwest.
