Meet Jerry

Jerry was born on September 25, 1949 in East Saint Louis, Illinois.

He attended Assumption High School in East Saint Louis, graduating in 1968.
Jerry received an Associates Degree, in 1971, from Belleville Area College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Maryville College in1973.

After an early career in law enforcement, Jerry entered what would be a lifelong career in public service. After serving as St. Clair County Board Chairman, Jerry was elected to fill the Congressional seat of the late Mel Price, on August 9, 1988. He was elected to his first full term on November 8, 1988.

Jerry and his wife Georgia have three children, Jerry II (Lori), Gina and John Patrick. They are the proud grandparents of; John "Jay" Sinovic, Austin, Rorey and Ireland Keen, Jerry III, Victoria, and Georgia Danielle, all residing in Belleville.
